Kidnap, Ransom & Extortion (K&R) insurance responds when a person is taken or threatened for money. It is purchased by companies with traveling or overseas employees, high-net-worth individuals and families, and executives — and it is designed to be confidential.

Coverage typically reimburses ransom and extortion payments, in-transit loss of ransom, crisis-response and negotiation costs, medical and legal expenses, and lost income or additional expenses tied to a covered event.

We offer two applications: one for companies and organizations, and one for individuals and families. Each can be completed by the agent or sent to the client as a secure link, with an e-signature where required.

Because K&R underwriting is sensitive, the application asks only what carriers require and routes confidentially to the desk.
